Perform a Collection Survey on a
unique or defined collection and write memo to library department head
about condition of the collection and changes to improve collection’s
lifespan. (2 page max) |

After Class Activity: This
field trip will be to Iron Mountain
/ National Underground. We meet after class at 2:30 at Iron
Mountain. There we will learn about long-term storage of paper,
microfilm, film and electronic records, and see where the materials are
stored. It’s about 70 miles from Pittsburgh. Driving directions will be
provided. |
