Description:
Just what is all
this talk about Usability? Don’t we know how to use and navigate
websites already? Well, there is more to usability than meets the eye.
Usability includes designing a website so someone else can find the
information they seek. It involves making the navigation of your site
intuitive. Designing for usability means that those with visual and
physical disabilities can use your site without much trouble. And we
dare not forget our senior patrons and their special needs. There are
several programs that will help you check your site for usability,
including Bobby, and the ADA has certain recommendations to make
life easier for everyone. Learn how to design your website with
usability and easy accessibility, examine sites and learn what doesn’t
work; explore web-based resources that will help you create more
accessible and usable websites. |
